April 29 - Federal and State Small Business Resources collaborate on disaster preparedness webinar series

April 29, 2021 - The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia, invites small business owners to a no-cost educational webinar to help them prepare and recover from a hurricane and other disasters.
The two-part webinar will take place on May 11 and May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. On May 11, topics will include disaster impacts, terminology, and re-entry permits an processes, business continuity planning, and reflections on the recent weather-related emergency in Texas and its impact on small businesses. On May 12, topics include emergency loan programs available to small businesses and farmers/ranchers from the SBA and USDA, and insurance concerns.
