The riverbank by West Bay Holiday Park
West Bay Holiday Park has been given consent to re-position 25 caravans within the park until the end of March.
The move had been requested to allow flood defence work to go ahead along the riverbank at the Parkdean complex.
The caravans will be moved to the touring field site whilst the Environment Agency works are completed along the banks of the River Brit.
Bridport Town Council had supported the temporary relocation.
