Another crash involving a buggy in Yates: Two people airlifted with serious injuries

The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious crash involving a motor vehicle and horse-and-buggy.
It occurred on Route 14A, according to first responders, who said two people had to be airlifted from the scene.
The two who were seriously injured and airlifted were inside the buggy at the time of the collision.
Route 14A was closed for a period of time during the afternoon hours after the crash as crews worked the scene. Deputies said that the horse was transported to a nearby farm- and was not hurt in the wreck.
No additional information was immediately available at the time of the crash.
