Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako says he is saddened by the decision of the former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu to resign from his position.
Discussing the fallout from Mr Amidu’s resignation on
Joy FM’s Newfile Saturday, Mr Baako said the former Special Prosecutor needed to exercise a little more patience and self-restraint at his post in order to do his job.
In his view, Mr Amidu’s reasons to have left his post should have rather incited him to stay and fight the corruption in the country’s system.
“My disappointment is that based on that reasoning he exits the office. As a full advocate of his nomination and appointment, I will not even say with a benefit of hind side of regret that I wish he should have stayed on.
