Alzheimer’s Association to host virtual community forum for Worcester residents

WORCESTER — More than 6 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
In Massachusetts alone, more than 130,000 people were living with Alzheimer’s in 2020. 
On April 14, the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter in collaboration with Dementia Friendly Worcester will host a virtual community forum to talk about the disease and allow attendees to ask questions and share personal experience. 
The forum will also provide more information on how the Alzheimer’s Association can better meet the needs of the community, and participants will learn about available resources and discover volunteer opportunities to support families affected by the disease.
