Airlines allowed to operate additional 30pc flights to Pakistan
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has allowed airlines to operate additional 30 percent flights to Pakistan, the Air Transport Department has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, the additional flights will also include cargo flights of the respective airlines. The number of foreign flights approved under the summer schedule was limited to 20% on the instructions of the NCOC. It will be possible for passengers to depart abroad by additional flights.
The airline s operation was limited to 20 percent of flights from May 5 to 20. The CAA called for additional flights from all airlines until May 18, citing a shortage of flights.
