AFP flaunts new warships, fighter jets in rare naval parade

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 16) — The Armed Forces of the Philippines displayed its wide array of air and sea assets in a major naval parade that flexes its military muscle.
The fleet review and wing flyby off the coast of Bataan on Wednesday marked AFP’s 85th anniversary and showcased the output of its long-term modernization program.
The country’s first missile-capable frigate, BRP Jose Rizal, led a new generation of warships. FA-50 fighter trainer jets and Black Hawk aircrafts soared into the sky.
