A report published by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) revealed that 93 out of 230 sitting MLAs in Madhya Pradesh have criminal cases registered against them. Of these, 39 MLAs belong to the BJP, 52 to the Congress, one to the BSP, and one is independent. Additionally, 47 MLAs have serious criminal cases, including one MLA with a murder case and six with attempted murder cases.
