Our CorrespondentWokha, June 25 (EMN): Describing the village chairmen as leaders at grassroots, advisor of Law and Justice and chairman of Wokha DPDB, Dr. Chumben Murry, urged the chairmen to adapt themselves with the fast technology advancement and accordingly tackle challenges of modern problems. Addressing the 10th general conference of Wokha District Village Council Chairmen’s Association (WDVCCA) at Tiyi Hall in Wokha Town on Friday, Dr. Chumben called upon the chairmen to shoulder their responsibility and execute their duties for the benefit of the public and society. Besides, he called upon the leaders to set an example by maintaining cleanliness around them and ensuring proper disposal of wastes in their localities. On the Naga political issue, he called upon all the political organisations to come together and work for a collective logical conclusion. He stated that the common aspiration should be pressed upon the GOI by all sections of society for the well being of Naga people.
