“Made You Look” is a dizzying story about fraud, deception and delusion in the art world. But it’s a story that also questions how we experience art itself. 
If we fall in love with a painting for its beauty, will its value — and allure — diminish once we discover that it wasn’t made by Jackson Pollock but, say, an elderly math teacher in Queens, New York, instead? To what lengths will we go to maintain the illusion that the painting we love is real, even when forensic scientists, art experts and government officials say otherwise?
