He has written two works for wind quintet: 6 Bagatelles (1953) and 10 pieces for wind quintet (1968). We play excerpts from both works and thereby show how his compositional form changed after he fled Hungary to Austria in 1956.<br><br>The quintet also repeats Rhapsody for winds by Susan Spain-Dunk, which was performed with her relatives present in the Council Hall in Trondheim public library a few years ago. Spain-Dunk was a significant English composer active at the beginning of the last century. As a female composer, she often ended up in the shadow of her male colleagues, but has been drawn into the light in recent years.<br><br>The concert ends with Mozart's magnificent Quintet for piano and winds. TBK again has the pleasure of playing together with Jørgen Larsen. He has played with us on many occasions and can almost be considered the 6th member of the quintet.<br><br>The concert is organized by TSO's Friends in collaboration with Trondheim Folkebibliotek and Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera, and is free for the public.
