(Archived document, may contain errors) 976 January 19,1994 AREFORMAGENDA FORTHENEW RUSSIANPARLIAMENT PARTIkPOLITICALANDLEGALBSUES INTRODUCTION The results of Russias parliamentary elections are a soberin g reminder of the politi cal task facing the cause of reform in Russia. As a consequence of the elections, com munists and fascists will have the largest block of seats in the lower house of parliament the Duma. Reformers will have the second largest bloc k of seats, but they are still badly divided on how quickly to proceed with economic reform.
