A father-son project in a Roaring Fork Valley garage aims to electrify the snowmobile industry

Connor and Greg Hoffman work on testing a hall effect throttle off a Skidoo snowmobile to see if it will work on the E Sled they are building in their Missouri Heights home.
Greg Hoffman pulled an old snowmobile from the Aspen Skiing Co. graveyard and is using it to design a battery-powered sled. They have pulled out the old engine and along with his son, Connor, the Hoffmans are designing a battery pack to fit in the space to work with an electric engine.
Connor Hoffman cuts open the gas tank from an old snowmobile so he and his father, Greg, can use it for battery storage on their electric snowmobile project.
