The refurbishment of the luxury department store, which was founded in 1797 selling groceries, wine, wool and cotton, has created a new entrance on Oslo’s busiest shopping street, Karl Johans gate. The retailer anticipates this will increase footfall from 2.2 million to 5 million people per year. The entrance includes a new atrium with a pop-up space that will be devoted to seasonal products and leads to the new beauty hall with a fragrance bar, grooming area and the first Dior beauty boutique in the Nordics.
