45 passengers rescued as fire guts BRT bus in Lagos

Forty-five passengers were rescued on Monday after fire gutted the Bus Rapid Transit vehicle conveying them.
The PUNCH gathered that the fire incident happened around 11am around the Idiroko-Anthony area of Lagos State.
It was learnt that the BRT bus was en route to TBS terminal, Lagos Island from Ikorodu terminal.
Our correspondent gathered that the initial vehicle conveying the passengers had broken down at the Owode area of Ikorodu Lagos when the burnt vehicle came to pick the stranded passengers.
