The doctors at Georgetown Hospital sent him home in a soft cast and a sling to await his appointment at the fracture clinic in seven days’ time, when he would be fitted for a plaster cast that would have to be worn for four to six weeks.
“We thought that was a bit crazy,” said Anmol’s father Deep Singh, the vice president of Advanced Manufacturing at CAD MicroSolutions Inc. “The kids are having a hard time because of the pandemic. They can’t see friends and family, but now his summer is going to be taken away because of this plaster cast.”
