Spirit Lake Council Votes to Move Cleanup Days to Fall

Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — The Spirit Lake City Council has voted to move its community cleanup to autumn instead of spring.
City Administrator Gregg Owen says the street department helps with the annual event, and they’re busy enough in May.
The annual cleanup day was moved to fall last year due to covid, revealing that it works better.
The Spirit Lake council hopes to set the date at its next meeting.
