1 dead in Virginia Beach motorcycle crash; part of Princess Anne Road closed for ‘extended time’

A fatal motorcycle crash shut down part of Princess Anne Road on Tuesday in Virginia Beach.
The roadway will be closed to traffic in both directions “for an extended time,” police in on Twitter. Drivers should expect detours to Pleasant Ridge Road and North Muddy Creek.
Police said one person died in the crash, but did not release any information about the motorist or what caused the incident.
