BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man was booked into jail after a bloody fight at Railroad and Holly Streets in Bellingham.
BPD Lt. Claudia Murphy say officers were called to the scene at 7:40 Monday evening.
Witnesses there said Darrell Lee Lopez was fighting another man, whom he repeatedly hit with a broken bottle.
The victim told police Lopez said the attack was due to a dispute between the two at the Basecamp homeless shelter.
The victim was taken to the ER for cuts, lost teeth and head and shoulder injuries, while Lopez was located and arrested nearby on suspicion of 1st degree assault.
