BALTIMORE, Maryland, March 31, 2024 (ENS) - Cranes are now at work removing the wreckage of the Francis Scott Key bridge from the Patapsco River at the mouth of Chesapeake Bay six days after a pillar supporting the bridge was struck by an out-of-control cargo ship. The bridge collapsed early Tuesday morning, killing six workmen, severing road and shipping transport across the Patapsco River, and closing the busy Port of Baltimore. %environment_news_service% news environment latest on forests, oceans, climate, wildlife, fisheries, transportation, business
